Sensasinya Taylor Swift
Namanya Taylor Swift. Awal tahu namanya saat jalan dengan salah seorang kawan, waktu itu kami ngobrol-ngobrol bagaimana ketinggalan jamannya kami karena kesibukan di kantor dan kuliah sampai tidak mengikuti perkembangan dunia musik, dan salah satu sorotannya adalah penyanyi muda Taylor Swift. Aku masih belum ngeh juga, sampai pada kesimpulan bahwa kami memang ketinggalan informasi dunia musik.
Selang beberapa minggu aku melihat video klipnya di [V], ia menarik perhatianku dalam klipnya You Belong with Me. Akhirnya satu per satu informasi tentangnya aku dapat. Kalau albumnya sudah 2 padahal umurnya masih belasan, hal yang biasa ya di dunia entertaintment amrik sono. Dari albumnya memang setelah di dengarkan cukup menggigit, bukan typical Teen Pop, ia masuk kategori Country Pop. Mulai dari lagu White Horse sampai yang paling aku suka You Belong with Me, semuanya enak didengarkan. Kesan Southern Musicnya hampir nggak ada sama sekali. Lucunya lagi, ternyata di belakang albumnya ia menulis arti dari album fearless itu sendiri. Cukup unik ya.

You have to believe in love stories and prince charmings and happily ever after. That's why I write these songs. Because love is FEARLESS."
Yang pasti, ia bukan remaja kebanyakan, ia bisa menulis lagu, main gitar, nyanyi, pokoknya kumpul jadi satu. Terakhir, berkat album Fearless, ia menyabet 4 grammy termasuk kategori paling bergengsi, Album of the Year.
